Staff-level engineer with 25+ years shipping production systems, most recently building and driving adoption of agentic AI development workflows.   • Led the team's adoption of a seven-stage, human-gated AI agent pipeline for bug investigation and remediation, taking it from prototype to the team's default workflow within weeks — the first team in the company running end-to-end on human-verified AI development. Contributed agents and refinements to the pipeline after initial development, and co-designed the scoring rubric that gates agent output before human review.
  • Wrote MCP servers integrating agents with production tooling — Airbrake, a New Relic rewrite, and several custom connectors — alongside prebuilt servers.
  • Expanded the system into a shared platform of ~15 workflow automations covering ticket intake, analysis, test coverage, data pulls, and migration scaffolding.
  • Results: ~78% increase in ticket throughput, more than 3x per-capita bug-fix output, and ~40% reduction in PR completion time.
  • Designed the trust boundary the pipeline runs inside: automated where safe, deliberate manual handoff for sensitive systems, and no agent access to running servers or databases outside the developer machine — staging and preprod included.
  • Drove adoption of automated AI code review (Claude and Copilot) on new PRs across teams.
  • Technical lead for a five-engineer team. Set technical direction, routed daily review assignments, and absorbed management-level duties at need.
  • Designed a triage process that cleared a years-deep backlog, and resolved high- and urgent-priority customer-facing defects — a login-blocking SSO outage, two classes of silent data corruption, and audit-trail gaps undermining the platform's compliance reporting.
